DirectorChristopher Jackman is a professional with a multifaceted career spanning mechanical engineering, recruitment, and trade union leadership in Trinidad and Tobago. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of the West Indies (UWI), equipping him with a robust foundation. Mr. Jackman dedicated ten years as a Mechanical Engineer at Petrotrin, where he performed his role in planning and executing projects critical to optimizing mechanical systems critical to Petrotrin’s oil and gas operations. Over the past five years, he has also served as a Project Engineer for Heritage Petroleum and Touchstone Energy as a consultant through various contractors, managing complex onshore and offshore projects with a focus on quality, safety, cost and timely execution.
Mr. Jackman has also applied his expertise to support the operation of a dynamic recruitment agency, connecting skilled professionals with opportunities in the energy sector and beyond, leveraging his deep understanding of local market needs and technical requirements. Additionally, Mr. Jackman served as President of the Oilfields Workers’ Trade Union (OWTU) Pointe-a-Pierre Branch for eight years, where he championed workers’ rights, negotiated collective agreements, and fostered collaboration between labor and management, demonstrating strong leadership and advocacy.
