Mr. Kent Samlal graduated from Naparima College and then studied Law firstly at the Institute of Law and Academic Studies, through the University of London External Student programme and thereafter at the University of London, London.

Mr. Samlal completed his Post Graduate Diploma at the College of Law, London where he completed his Legal Practice Course.

Mr. Samlal was admitted to practice law in Trinidad and Tobago in June 2009 and has since that time litigated matters in the Civil Courts of Trinidad and Tobago with his practice being focused in the areas of negligence, commercial and public law. Through his practice he has appeared before the High Court, Court of Appeal and the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council.

Mr. Samlal is an executive member of the Naparima College Association of Past Students where he has served in that position for the last four (4) years with the intention of giving back to his Alma Mater and its current students.
